VGN RUST REVIEW

VGN Official Rust Review

Rust is a multiplayer game, so there will be other players trying to survive in the same way that you are. Unfortunately for you they can find you, kill you and take your stuff. Fortunately for you – you can kill them and take their stuff. Or maybe you can make friends and help each other survive. Rust’s world is harsh – so you might need to make friends to survive. Keep reading for the official VGN Rust Review.

VGN Official Rust Review:

Rust is an Open-World Survival Based MMO that is packed full of Quality Action and Strategy.  It’s not often I dig into a MMO game but when I do 9/10 times there are no regrets.   I can honestly say that after researching and writing this Rust Review I am pretty much 100% satisfied with the Game Play and would recommend this game to anyone looking for a new game. From the developers that brought you “Garry’s Mod”.   Maybe a little late but we are here to give you the run down on Rust. This game is Designed and maintained by Facepunch Studios and was officially made open to the public in 2013.  It’s not normal for me to give a game that is currently in development a 5 star rating but Rust definitely takes the cake.

Rust definitely has a slight hint of that expected Garry’s Mod Feel but I also believe it brings to light a real life type of feeling that can only truly be explained if you play. I want everyone to know that like all of my posts I stand by this Rust Review fully and mean what I say. If you are from the woods, enjoy camping or ever wished to be on a Survival Show to test your ability to stay alive in true survival scenarios,  this game absolutely brings in that type of feeling.  From camp fires to building your base, staying hydrated, cooking/eating food to literally appearing to being asleep when you go to bed, Rust definitely gives you a great sense of Real-Life survival and is a great substitute if you aren’t in a position to move off grid and start a colony independent from the federal government.

The game has so many things going on but primarily the main focus is Gather Resources, Craft Guns, Build Structures, Defend Your Base and raiding.  Although Raiding is not required and you are pretty much free to do whatever you want, it’s absolutely more than likely that you will be coming face to face with players who are out to get you.  The way this game is built when you actually do run into someone you get great rush as if you were driving past a cop while speeding and not getting pulled over. For $19.99 You can’t go wrong. For the cost of a dinner with a hot lady you can buy a $20.00 Steam Card and get this game.

One awesome thing that I like about this game is there are no second chances.  If you make one mistake and/or one wrong turn that could spell disaster for everything you have been building and worked hard at trying to put together.  With that being said, if you are not one to take loosing easy than rust probably isn’t the game for you.  Rust is definitely a trial and error type game.  Every mistake or thing you do within this world gives new light as to how you approach certain situations in the future.

Unlike a lot of game developers who release developing games and walk away from them, it actually does seem like Facepunch studio’s is standing by their reputable nature and are at this point still pretty involved with the community.  It’s been 3 years since initial release to the public and there are still things being worked on and released to help better the community.

All in all Rust gets a “5 Star Gameplay” rating from VGN in regards to Game Play.  Because of the heart pumping action and great feeling you get obtained from working your ass off we are giving this game an “5 Star Intensity Rating”.  For an MMO and the amount of stuff being put into these worlds I feel as though the graphics are outstanding and the servers actually do hold up pretty decent for the amount of things going on.  Down the line only good things can come from this engine and future in-game graphics/atmosphere.  Rust gets a “4 Star Graphics” rating from VGN.  In regards to the Multiplayer experience with this game it is amazing, rewarding and totally 100% worth playing.  For this reason VGN is giving Rust a “5+++ Multiplayer” Rating for it’s over the top multiplayer experience.

For the price of 19.99 you can’t really go wrong.  Those of you expecting the price to drop are going to be waiting some time as the developers really do have no plans in lowering it. I recommend clicking below and getting yourself a $20 Steam Gift Card and purchasing this game.  It is absolutely something you will not regret.  VGN definitely expects to be supporting this game and getting more involved with the community.  Today we have officially started promoting our New Official Rust Server and have started making plans to run events.  For a guaranteed uptime and a high speed dedicated server on a fiber connection  check out our server below.
